Back To School Picnic
Mark your calendars for our Back To School Community Picnic and Fundraiser at Pleasant Grove on Aug 17th from 10am - 3pm. There will be food available for purchase, games and interactive booths to help get kids pumped for the next year of school! Admission is $5 per car or a bag of school supplies.
We still need teachers, clubs, and organizations to set up booths, and additional sponsors. Please contact us for more information. The main feature at the picnic will be a rubber duck race down the Rivanna. Ducks and other merchandise will be available for presale at bake sales leading up to the picnic.
Teacher Supplies CollectionOur teachers continue to need things like white-board markers, staples, printer paper, and sticky note pads. We also get requests for larger items that we reimburse teachers for, so monetary donations are always welcome! This summer we do not have specific collection sites set up for supplies, but you can always take donations to the school of your choice.SFT 5k-Students for Teachers are planning to host a 5k race in the fall. We will publish details after we finish with the summer picnic. |  |
Rubber Duck Sales-
Ducks will now be sold at Ace (Do It Best) Hardware and Mailbox Express. Now you can support your local schools while supporting local business!
